Lucknow: Renowned educator, writer, translator-editor, speaker, and social worker Kavita Mishra unveiled her debut book ‘Kavita Tu Kya Hai? (My Musings)’ in an intimate and literary ceremony held in the heart of Lucknow. The book, a rich tapestry of prose and poetry in both Hindi and English, reflects the essence of her multifaceted personality and profound life experiences.
The formal launch was graced by several distinguished guests, including Anil Shukla, a Canada-based senior citizen with extensive experience in multinational corporate management and administration, and a senior admin of the Lucknow Connection Worldwide group; Amit Harsh, a senior advocate at the High Court; Chandrashekhar Verma, a well-known author and counselor; Jyoti Sinha, noted writer, social worker, and founder of Helping Hearts Foundation; and Raj Smriti, founder of Folktales Incorporation.
Adding a personal touch to the event were Kavita Mishra’s family members: her sister Arti Mishra, a senior English teacher at City Montessori School; and her daughter Ananya Mishra, a talented lyricist and student of IT College who is already making a name in the world of music and creativity. Also present were her sister-in-law Sunita Sharma, a homemaker and entrepreneur, and Yukti Sharma, a student of Lucknow Public College.
Publisher Vishwanath Mishra, proprietor of Pratidhwani Publications, proudly shared that this was his third collaborative project with Kavita Mishra. He noted that her earlier editorial contributions to two books with the Lucknow Connection Worldwide group had already made a significant mark in literary circles.
The launch was attended by several esteemed personalities from Lucknow’s literary and cultural community, who warmly welcomed Kavita Mishra into the world of published authors. Notables included Mukesh Rastogi, Rohit Tandon, retired banker and his wife Anuradha Tandon, a senior teacher; Ratna Seth, senior educator; and Shilpi Pahwa, a renowned numerologist, tarot reader, and astrologer.
Kavita Tu Kya Hai? (My Musings) marks an important milestone in Kavita Mishra’s literary journey. More than just a book, it offers readers an intimate window into her thoughts, emotions, and artistic reflections, promising to connect deeply with hearts and minds alike.
